Noodleheads Find Something Fishy is my favorite among the three, especially the ending. Each book starts with the Noodlehads introducing themselves, then two pages that set up the story. With their literal grasp of the world, Mac and Mac remind me of Amelia Bedelia, and having two of them doubles the fun. And, of course, two anthropomorphized pasta tubes walking around is pretty .   Noodleheads See the Future (Hardcover) By Tedd Arnold, Martha Hamilton, Mitch Weiss. Holiday House, , 48pp. Publication Date: Janu Other Editions of This Title: Paperback (5/8/) Prebound (5/8/).

Mac and Mac, Noodleheads hoping to eat a cake in their future, find themselves in hilarious situations generated from their own foolishness. The authors and illustrator bring a rich oral tradition to today’s beginning reader. A reader will enjoy being in on the jokes in this cleverly crafted story told in comic book . Mac and Mac, the noodleheads who take everything literally and are easily fooled, are convinced by mean bully Meatball that he can see the future. He also fakes them into believing he has magic seeds. But all ends well when the future eventually arrives and a garden takes bloom/5(7).

This easy-to-read series, including the Geisel Honor book Noodleheads See the Future, is an accessible introduction to stories of fools, and a great next read for fans of the Fly Guy books.
